When charging the gimbal’s battery, 5V/2A charger is recommended.
Only gimbal: It will takes about 1.5h to fully charge, the indicator is solid red while charging, and it will automatically turn off when fully charged.
Only handle: It will takes about 1.2h to fully charge, the indicator is solid red while charging, and solid green while fully charged.
Gimbal and handle install correctly: It will takes about 1.58h to fully charge, the indicator for the handle is solid red while charging, and solid green while fully charged.
Note: no continuous charging for more than 12 hours.
2. Is the battery for Feiyu Pocket 3 removable? What is the battery capacity and how long is the normal usage time?
Feiyu Pocket 3 has a built-in rechargeable battery.
The battery voltage for gimbal is 7.4V, and the capacity is 280mAh.
The battery voltage for handle is 7.4V, 5.55Wh and the capacity is 750mAh. Charging the battery through USB-C port.
Usage time:
Only gimbal: No WiFi connection, static shooting: 60min while working at 1080p 30fps.
Gimbal and handle install properly: 116min while working at 1080P 30fps.
3. How to install the gimbal and handle correctly?
Please make sure that the dovetail groove at the bottom of the gimbal is install correctly with the dovetail groove of the handle, and the Type C port of the gimbal must be close enough(No gap) with the protruding Type C port of the handle.
4. What should be paid attention to when choosing a MicroSD card?
Max Capacity supported: 512G. For recording Super Hight quality video, U3 and higher speed SD Card is required (minimum writing speed > 30MBps)
5. Feiyu Pocket 3 cannot turn on, what should I do?
1) Please confirm whether the battery is charged. You can try to turn it on by press and hold the power button for 3 seconds after it is fully charged.
2) If the forced power-off is caused by pressing the power button for a long time (10 seconds or more), please fully charge the gimbal first, then try to press the power button for 3 seconds and let go, next, press the power button for 3 seconds to turn on.
6. How to switch between different working modes?
1)Swipe up from the main interface, tap on those icons to switch between Pan mode, Follow mode and All Follow mode.

18. How to adjust the screen brightness?

19. How to activate face tracking function?

Note: Only available when in picture mode, recording mode and slow motion mode; Not available when color temperature is lower than 3600k or in incandescent mode.
2)After connecting the bluetooth with Feiyu Cam App, enter into the main interface of the App, make sure the shooting mode is in picture/recording/slow motion mode, tap the object/face tracking icon to face tracking, select the face to be tracked, and track it when the face is selected by the green frame.
20. How to activate object tracking function?
After connecting the bluetooth with Feiyu Cam App, enter into the main interface of the App, make sure the shooting mode is in picture/recording/slow motion mode, make sure the object/face tracking icon to object tracking, select the object to be tracked, and track it when the object is selected by the green frame.

21. How many way points does the Time Lapse mode support?

22. How to switch to portrait mode?

When the gimbal work in All Follow mode, tilt the handle 90° from left or right and keep it vertically. (Note:4k48/50/60 and 1080P120 videos can not be displayed vertically on the camera screen)

23. How to check the remaining battery of Feiyu Pocket 3?

(The battery icon on the left side is the remaining battery of the handle. And the battery icon on the right side is the remaining battery of the gimbal.)

24. How to set Feiyu Pocket 3 to diving mode?
Four tap the M button to enter diving mode of the gimbal: When the gimbal is off, put the gimbal into the waterproof case, press and hold the power button of the waterproof case about 3 seconds to turn the gimbal on. Single tap the power button to switch shooting mode, and single tap the shutter button to start shooting.
(Notes: Single tap the M button again to exit diving mode. Gimbal and handle install correctly, then turn the gimbal on, four tap the M button on the gimbal does not support entering the diving mode(Diving mode can only be operated when the gimbal is working alone).In addition, In diving mode, the gimbal does not support pressing the shutter button to turn on WiFi. Long press and hold the power button more than 8 seconds.

Way two: Connecting Feiyu Cam App by the phone’s settings(Only gimbal)
Please make sure the phone’s WiFi and bluetooth are turn on. Gimbal and handle install correctly, then turn the gimbal on, long press the shutter button on the gimbal about 3 seconds to turn the WiFi on.
Android smartphone: Turn on the phone’s settings, click WLAN option, select the gimbal’s WiFi, put in password, the tap the tick at the upper right corner of the phone. Turn the Feiyu Cam App on, tap the “Feiyu Pocket” option at the center bottom, click “search for devices” to enter the Feiyu Cam App interface.
IOS smartphone: Turn on the phone’s settings, click WLAN option, select the gimbal’s WiFi, put in password, the tap the join at the upper right corner of the phone. Turn the Feiyu Cam App on, tap the “Feiyu Pocket” option at the center bottom,choose Feiyu Pocket 3, tap OK, next, click “connect devices” to enter the Feiyu Cam App interface.
Way three: Connecting Feiyu Cam App by gimbal’s bluetooth(Gimbal and handle install correctly)
Please make sure the phone’s WiFi and bluetooth are turn on. Gimbal and handle install correctly, then turn the gimbal on, long press the shutter button on the handle about 3 seconds to turn the WiFi on.
Android smartphone: Turn the Feiyu Cam App on, tap the “Feiyu Pocket” option at the center bottom, click “search for devices”, tap the gimbal’s bluetooth “FEIYU_POCKET_3_***”.
IOS smartphone: Turn the Feiyu Cam App on, tap the “Feiyu Pocket” option at the center bottom, click “Connect device”, tap the gimbal’s bluetooth “FEIYU_POCKET_3_***”, next, click join to enter the interface of Feiyu Cam App.
Notes:
1)Some Android smartphones use way two to connect WiFi for the first time, then change way one to connecting WiFi , when click “Seach for devices”, Feiyu Cam App will be prompt “Unable to connect to the device”. In this case, please run the WLAN in the phone’s settings, and forget the gimbal’s WiFi, then connecting the gimbal WiFi with Way one.
2) Some Android smartphones use way two to connect WiFi for the first time, then change way three to connecting WiFi , when click bluetooth name for the gimbal(“FEIYU_POCKET_3_***”) in Feiyu Cam App , the App will jump to the smartphone’s WLAN settings. In this case, please make sure the gimbal’s WiFi is on, and select the gimbal’s WiFi, then put the password , tap tick to confirm.
3) When connect gimbal WiFi by the smartphone’s WLAN settings, if anything wrong prompt up, please close/turn off the gimbal’s WiFi, then turn on again, or reboot the gimbal, and turn on the WiFi again.
4) If A smartphone were connected the gimbal’s WiFi, when use B smartphone to connect gimbal’s WiFi with way three, the B smartphone will not be able to find the bluetooth of the gimbal. In this case, please close the bluetooth for A smartphone, then testing with B smartphone again.
29. After change the password for Feiyu Pocket 3’s WiFi, Android smartphone not able to connect gimbal WiFi, what should I do?
1)Use the Feiyu Cam App to scan the QR code to connect to Feiyu Pocket 3’s WiFi, and then change the gimbal WiFi password. When scan the gimbal WiFi QR code to connect to the gimbal WiFi again, some smartphones will not be able to connect. Because after change the gimbal WiFi password, the Feiyu Cam App cannot recognize the new password, but the old password on previously. In this case, please turn off the smartphone’s WLAN settings, then turn on again, next, scan the gimbal WiFi QR code by Feiyu Cam App, or connect the gimbal’s WiFi by the phone’s WLAN settings.
2)Use the phone’s WLAN settings to connect the Feiyu Pocket 3’s WiFi, and then change the gimbal WiFi password. When scan the gimbal WiFi QR code to connect to the gimbal WiFi again, some smartphones will not be able to connect. In this case, please forget the gimbal WiFi from the phone’s WLAN settings, then scan the gimbal WiFi QR code by Feiyu Cam App to connect gimbal WiFi again.
30. Why does it fail to connect to the gimbal WiFi by scanning the Gimbal WiFi QR code in Feiyu Cam App?
Connecting the gimbal WiFi by Phone’s WLAN settings directly, when next time connect the gimbal WiFi by scan the Gimbal WiFi QR code in Feiyu Cam App, some smartphone might not able to connect gimbal WiFi.In this case, please forget the gimbal WiFi from the phone’s WLAN settings, then scan the gimbal WiFi QR code by Feiyu Cam App to connect gimbal WiFi again.
31. What should I do if IOS scans the gimbal WiFi QR code to connect to the gimbal WiFi but fails to connect, and prompts that Unable to join the network "VCAM_****" or the screen of the handle shows the name of the phone?
Please make sure the Wireless Data for Feiyu Cam App in the phone’s settings is on and tick the WLAN&Cellular Data as well, and then scan the gimbal WiFi QR code by Feiyu Cam App to connect gimbal WiFi again.
32. Why Feiyu Cam App in IOS smartphone will prompt up failed to save the document?
1)If the Feiyu Cam App in our phone settings does not allow access to all photos, when tap “Album” on the bottom right corner of Feiyu Cam App, then click “SD card”, next, choose the photo or video to download, after download 100% the “Download failed, please try again” will prompt up. And we could not find any photo or video in “Edited” option.

33. How to check the remaining memory of the SD card?
1)Gimbal and handle install correctly, then turn the gimbal on, when taking photos or recording videos, you can check the amount of remaining photos or video duration at the bottom of the main screen.

34. How to export the pictures and videos?
1)When the Feiyu Pocket 3 is on, connect with a computer with USB-C cable, select Udisk mode, then copy the files to the computer.
2)Connect with the Feiyu Cam APP, download the pictures and videos to your phone.
3)Remove the MicroSD Card and connect with a computer with card reader, then copy the files to the computer.
35. What is the file transfer speed of Feiyu Pocket 3?
When connecting to a computer to copy files, the gimbal itself can reach a speed of about 23MB/s, but the actual transmission speed is not only related to the gimbal, but also related to the read and write speed of the SD card and the speed of the USB port of the computer. If the SD card read/write speed is lower than 23MB/s, or the computer USB is version 2.0, the actual transfer speed depends on the lower one.
When Feiyu Cam connects to the camera via WiFi, the transfer speed of downloading files is about 3MB/s.
36. What should I do if Feiyu Pocket 3 freezes due to misuse or sweaty hands when touching the screen?
No response to the touch screen( Such as the touch screen not response while switch taking picture/recording video/slow motion etc..); Unable to exit the interface for set up with resolution or FPS; When close WiFi, which will get freezes in “Close WiFi or not” interface; The touch screen keep black, but the motors powerful etc..
Solution: When gimbal get freezes please turn the gimbal off by press the power button about 8 seconds, then turn the gimbal on by press the power button by 3 seconds and release it, next, press the power button about 3 seconds to turn the gimbal on.
When handle get freezes please turn the handle off by press the power button about 8 seconds, then turn the handle on by press the power button by 3 seconds and release it, next, press the power button about 3 seconds to turn the handle on.
37. How to use the external camera function?
1)Only gimbal, please connecting the USB to Type C cable with computer and gimbal properly, then turn the gimbal on, and single tap the power button to switch PCCAM(Default is Udisk)
2) Gimbal and handle install correctly, connecting the USB to Type C cable with computer and gimbal properly, then turn the gimbal on, click “PCCAM” on the touch screen, and turn on the camera on Windows. Kindly see below.
38. After turn the Feiyu Pocket 3 on, swipe down and swipe right from the handle’s main interface does not work, what should I do?
Swipe down and swipe right on the main interface of the handle does not work, which is caused by the incorrect installation of the gimbal and handle. In this case, before turn the gimbal on, please make sure the gimbal and handle are install correctly.
39. How to magnetically attach Feiyu Pocket 3 to objects?
There is a magnet at the bottom of the gimbal, which can be directly adsorbed to the surface of iron objects.
Expansion base: with a 1/4 inch thread hole, a chute is reserved to match some quick-release bases on the market, and a through hole is also reserved for fixing with a wrist strap.
40. Why the videos look gray?
1)Make sure the screen protector was removed.
2)Go to Pro mode, and check if the color mode is set to Fy-log mode, if yes, switch to Normal mode.
41. Why does it freeze when I play the videos that are downloaded from the Feiyu Cam APP on my phone?
The performance of mobile phones is different,and the high-resolution/frame rate video cannot be decoded, and it will freeze or at a very low speed.

50. After connected the correct cable with Feiyu Pocket 3 and computer properly, the computer not recognise the Udisk, what should I do?
1)Please make sure the cable is workable.
After the gimbal is connected to the computer, please select the "Udisk"
2)If the problem were caused by the driver, which will need to delete the driver by computer.
After the gimbal is connected to the computer and select the "Udisk", move the mouse to “This PC/Computer” , then right click the mouse, choose management, tap device manager, next check other device, uninstall the Feiyu ca icatch v37 USB Device with a question mark. After that, please remove the cable and plugging again.
51. Is the gimbal easy to separate from the handle?
If gimbal and handle are installed incorrectly, the gimbal will easily separate from the handle. Therefore, before turn the gimbal on, please make sure gimbal and handle are installed correctly.
52. Is Feiyu Pocket 3 waterproof?
The gimbal itself is not waterproof, but the gimbal can be waterproofed to 20m by installing the protective cover.

54. How to upgrade the firmware for Feiyu Pocket 3?
Notes: When upgrading the firmware for Feiyu Pocket 3, please make sure the battery for the gimbal is above 40% , and the SD card must to be inserted.
1)Upgrade the firmware by Android smartphone
After connecting Feiyu Cam App correctly, click “Home”, then tap on “...” at the upper-right corner, tap on “ Upgrade Feiyu Pocket firmware” and then “Start Update”, the gimbal will automatically upload the firmware, after upload is done, gimbal WiFi will be automatically disconnected.
After that, the gimbal will automatically download & upgrade firmware, and gimbal will be turn itself off automatically after the upgrade is done. For the first boot up after firmware upgrade, it needs a few seconds to process.
